When a file is exported, mbex adds a prefix to the filename. In instances where multi-language content exists that points to the same filename, the exported content did not replicate the structure of Moodle. This behaviour can be disabled in Export Settings. Reference to open-source software amended

Many times the naming of activities generates long filenames and Windows doesn’t like it. Whenever possible, mbex truncates the path and filenames to please Windows
Moodle content creators feel creative and use characters in the naming of activities (e.g., ‘.’, ‘/’, etc.) that cause anaphylaxis to Windows. mbex replaces illegal path and filename characters with an underscore (‘_’)
